Awarded for the love of Paphos
Seven people are one of the most consistent and loyal holidaymakers who have chosen their favorite hotel in Paphos for the past thirty years to spend their holidays. We are talking about a couple, Paul Droy and Patricia Davis, since 1999 they have stayed at the Cypria Maris Hotel 34 times. Spouses Jim and Sandra Hanna have 38 times opted for this hotel since 1991. Retired Beryl House has 54 trips to the hotel of the same name. But, undoubtedly, the record among them belongs to a pair of Colin and Joan Holton with 63 vacations, starting in 1985.
Naturally, the Cypriot Tourism Organization (CAT) could not ignore this interesting fact and, in the person of one of its top managers, awarded these remarkable people with an honorary diploma. In her speech, Julia Papaeti Kutzofidi emphasized that such tourists are very important, both for Paphos and for the entire tourism industry of Cyprus as a whole.
